We were in a SuperBowl commercial.

We partnered with BudLight to be included in their SuperBowl commercial. Through the partnership, we gave Bud Light a Noun in exchange for them including the Nouns glasses in the commercial.

We gave prescription eyeglasses to children in need.

We wanted to give the kids glasses that fit, they‘re proud to wear, even as they may change throughout the year.

The Nouns × Fitz Frames Prescription Subscription partners with screening & testing partners provide glasses for kids in need throughout the school year if they lose them, break them, grow out of them or just desire a new pair to compliment their new style.

We named a frog.

NounsDAO purchased the right to name the frog Hyalinobatrachium Nouns, or Nouns Glassfrog in plain English. Naming a species was the first for the crypto and NFT community.

We made a
coloring book.

In partnership with the talented artist Messhup, we funded the creation and production of a set of coloring books. These books were then offered for free as a digital download and a physical copy can be purchased on Amazon.

We brought the iconic Nouns glasses to life.

With the backing of the NounsDAO treasury, Salvino created a premium physical version of the iconic Nouns glasses.

We made memes.

We funded Goat Club to create memes, gifs, and art so that community members could express themselves nounishly and spread nouns far and wide across the web.

We proliferated the meme in IRL too.

From Brazil, to Korea, to Australia, the Nouns community has been proliferating the meme IRL through posters, billboards, and murals. We’ve also sponsored different builders to attend and proliferate Nouns in large events such as NFT NYC.

We designed and
gave away skateboards.

We ran a design contest to create designs for the skateboard decks. Apenoun then partnered with The Skatepark Project Tony Hawk‘s Foundation) to fund 300 boards to be donated.

The DAO has funded a team to create Nouns Coffee. We’ve also partnered with Sublime Butter to create a new product called Moonbeans. Noun Dust was funded through the small grants and retrofunding program.

We funded the creation of
Nouns Center.

The site serves as the knowledge center and resource hub for Nouns DAO. Nouns Center has been forked by 4 other communities (Blitmap, Forgotten Runes, Lil Nouns, and Mfers) and has become the perfect entry point to onboard new community members.

We’re developing a children’s book and comic books.

We partnered with the talented artist @brandonmighty to create an illustrated Nouns children’s book. I am a Noun (tentative title) will be an illustrated book for young children where we meet, learn about, laugh with, laugh at, argue with, understand, admire and ultimately love the Nouns.

We A monthly cc0 Nouns comic for Nationwide Distribution. DefaultedUser, a 25-year veteran of comics publishing, will create a comic meant to be released not only to the Web3 community but to comic book stores via Titan Comics and to book stores via Penguin Random House.

The Noun Square is a daily Twitter Spaces ritual celebrating Noun O’ Clock (NOC) in a fun and engaging format. Spearheaded by Toady Hawk, SerNoadz and Noun 142, administered by a talented committee of Nounish builders, and supported by a growing international community.

Prop House

Nouns Proposal Auction House (or Prop House) is an experimental approach to deploying capital. Through funding rounds, ETH is auctioned off to the best bidder. The bids are proxy community proposals.

Nouns Strategic Funding Works

NSFW (previously known as Small Grants) serves multiple roles for the DAO: they are the DAO’s working capital, a Nounish venture pod, and an onboarding tool.

We’ve also funded many more initiatives in media, tech and fashion to further proliferate the meme.
